Otrivin Paediatric Nasal Drops 0.05%

Otrivin Paediatric Nasal Drops contain xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.05% w/v, a nasal decongestant used to relieve blocked or stuffy noses in children. It works by reducing swelling of the blood vessels in the nasal passages, helping the child breathe more easily. It may be used for nasal congestion associated with colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
How to use: For children 1–5 years, the product information recommends 1–2 drops into each nostril once or twice daily. For children 6–11 years, 2–4 drops into each nostril 2–3 times daily as needed. Do not exceed 3 applications per nostril in 24 hours and do not use for more than 10 consecutive days. Use under adult supervision.
Warnings: Not recommended for children below 1 year. Do not use in children allergic to xylometazoline or any ingredient, or in certain nasal and eye conditions. Prolonged or excessive use may cause rebound nasal congestion.
